SlideRocket is looking for a Flex developer to work on an exciting rich internet application for creating, managing and distributing multi-media presentations. This is an opportunity to be an early employee at a recently funded startup with a real business model and great potential upside.
This position involves developing across a broad set of functionality including building rich media design tools, mashups with external datasources, social networking community features, visual effects and animations, developer APIs, online/offline synchronization and enterprise-level security and versioning. There is a ton of cool stuff that needs to be developed for SlideRocket and this is a great opportunity to work on a project that will have huge mainstream business and consumer exposure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop features for the SlideRocket client application targeting both Flex and AIR runtimes.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* 4+ years of development experience.
* 2+ years experience in developing with Adobe Flex, ActionScript and MXML.
* Expert with Text manipulation in Flash
* Experience with printing from Flash
* Experience with building custom effects and transistions
* Experience with AIR
* Experience with localization issues
PLUSES
* Experience on : Linux \ Mac \ Windows
* Good UI design skills
* ASP.NET webservice experience
* SQL Server\MySQL experience
* Web server scalability design
* Good XML understanding

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop features for the SlideRocket Server-Side layer and database design.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* 4+ years of ASP.NET C# webservice experience
* 4+ SQL Server experience and MySQL experience
* Expert with SQL Query Optimization and SQL Server Tuning
* Expert SQLServer/MySQL Backup and Recovery planning
* Expert with Application and Server Security
* Experience with load balancing
* Experience with SQL Server Mirroring/Replication
* Experience with Server Load Testing
* Experience with localization issues
PLUSES
* Experience with Adobe Flex, ActionScript and MXML.
