ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Design and document test cases in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
* Execute test cases paying meticulous attention to detail to all areas of the product
* Own and maintain test plans for various interdependent components following each release cycle
* Develop UI automation using iMacros which can be leveraged for regression testing during each release cycle
* Initiate engineering practices to evaluate, enhance and maintain existing quality methods and processes
* Work closely with all parties involved, including customers, to debug software defects
* Create test scenarios that exercise all new features of the product.
* Critically think about how customers will interact with the software being tested and turn those thoughts into bugs, action items, and avenues of discussion.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* A Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
* A minimum of five (3) years experience as a Software Test and Quality Control/Assurance Engineer on large scale software systems, applications or computer systems
* Understanding of an SaaS / .NET environment
* Proficiency in writing and executing Flex technology test plans that support web or mobile based, client-facing applications.
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of engineering concepts and skills
* Direct experience in computer programming, scripting and software development
* Must have experience in testing complex code with multiple layers of dependency
* Must have the ability to isolate software defects down to root cause
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must possess ability to work autonomously and as a team wherever required
