We are now almost two days into our private beta and things are going fairly smoothly. No crashes or hiccups yet, which means we may be able to send out more invites soon. Thank you to everyone who has submitted bug reports, those help tremendously as we try to iron out any kinks in the software.
Also, thank you so much to the folks who have been sending us encouragement. The emails and phone calls mean a lot to us.
Kristen Nicole at Mashable has taken SlideRocket for a spin in this article:
The graphics options for SlideRocket are phenomenal, from the effects you can add to images, to the transition options moving from one slide to the next. SlideRocket also offers some pretty cool options for your graphs as well. Your slide shows also support multimedia, so videos, Flash and audio can be included with your presentations.
She goes on to say that
SlideRocket seems primarily poised for business use, but I don’t see why this couldn’t be utilized for more creative endeavors.
That’s exactly what we’ve been thinking as we’ve been building it. To that end, if you’ve had a chance to play with SlideRocket we’d love to see what you’ve created. Post a comment here or in the forum with a link to your presentation or email us directly.
