It’s a new year and a new day for presentations and we’re excited to bring you all some updates. Thanks to everyone who’s emailed us and asked what’s happening with SlideRocket. The short story is that we’ve been very busy these past few months. There’s a ton of interest and excitement about our next-generation presentation software and it’s only fair we let you in on what we’ve been working on.
Update #1 SlideRocket is hiring! If you’re a developer looking for the next challenge and love RIA’s (rich internet applications) then we want to talk to you. Check the job post here (http://www.linkedin.com/jobs?viewJob=&jobId=450994) and let us know why you love SlideRocket.
Update #2 We hired a marketing guy. That would be me, Nat Robinson. A marketing genius with over 15 years in information technology, I’m psyched to be part of the SlideRocket family and working hard to bring you an incredible set of presentation tools with amazing value and a minimum of marketing gobbledygook
Update #3 We’ve been working on our workgroup functionality to allow teams to seamlessly collaborate on presentations. This is one of the key elements our beta testers have asked for and it’s coming with features like versioning, concurrent editing and multi-level access control. These features will allow your teams to collectively build and iterate your presentations in real-time, direct who can view/edit which slides, and create and distribute different versions for different audiences as your needs require. Very, very cool.
2008 is off to a great start. Stay tuned, more updates coming soon!
