Under the Radar

By Nat Robinson on February 22, 2008

We’re happy to announce that our CEO Mitch Grasso will be demoing SlideRocket at Under The Radar Spring (March 19-20 in Mountain View, CA).

Under the Radar

Under the Radar is the premiere conference tracking early stage innovation and this next event in the series is focused on the evolution of Web applications: new technologies, new business models, and of course the disruptors. What better place for SlideRocket’s public debut?

Mitch will give a full demo of the SlideRocket ecosystem–from authoring to analytics–with a finale that will blow your mind! If you’re interested in the next generation of presentations you need to be there. See you at Under The Radar!

Hi guys, congratulations on an excellent product, this is exactly what we’ve been looking for to set up a collection of slides for use by various people, one thing I couldn’t find though, which I’m hoping beyond hope that you will incorporate, is to export for offline viewing. I can clearly see the benefits of your product, but when it comes to rolling it out to our sales team the first thing they will say is that they don’t always have a net connection, and wouldn’t feel comfortable relying on a hosted presentation for critical meetings. If however they could use your app to build their custom presentation, then export (even if it’s an executable flash file), so that it can be run any time locally on a laptop, our sales team would certainly buy into using sliderocket right across the board. Either way, well done on a great product!
BTW, I tried to email this but your email addresses are returned as undeliverable.

All the goodness of offline capabilities would be very nice. However, I’d settle for you to simply launch! :) Show how you blow the doors off of Google’s presentation offering…

How many more months/years will you be in Beta? Can we expect to get to use this sometime this century perhaps?

Chris, You make an excellent point and the good news is that we do have an offline client. You can login to your account, synchronize your presentations and then take them with you to present wherever.

Hi Mlk, We’re actually in private beta right now and moving to a public beta very soon, definitely this century. We understand you’re excited to see and use SlideRocket, we want you to use it. We also want you have a great experience hence the extended private beta.

You should at least acknowledge beta requests with something. Right now you all are like a black hole. You rarely update the blog/site/anything. Blist, for example, is still obviously in dev, but the fact that people can go in and bang on it makes it feel more like it’s moving forward
