Thanks for the feedback everyone. You should all be receiving invites if you didn't have them already. If you don't get them or they're blocked please send me an email to nat@sliderocket.com and I will personally send you an invite link.

Clearly we're not Google and don't have their resources so we've been letting people into the beta gradually to ensure performance and quality as we ramp up. We can all remember what happened to Friendster in this respect and we'd like to think we can learn from others.

While we can appreciate your frustration with not being "in" the beta we'd rather have a smaller group of users who have an amazing experience than a large group of one time users who have a horrible experience and never come back.

We are going to bring SlideRocket to market and we're committed to providing you with the best tools, content and resources to allow you all to make, manage, share and measure great presentations. Thanks for your support.

Guys,

Come on already. Are you guys serious? The best way to communicate the value of sliderocket is to get the product into as many hands as possible. End of story. Ever heard of Guy Kawasaki? http://www.amazon.com/The-Art-of-the-Start/dp/B000QJLQY4/ref=dp_kinw_strp_1

An EXTENDED closed beta? Do you think google would have the success they do if that was their strategy?

You've got people wanting more. Don't squander your buzz, groundswell, [insert hip noun/phrase for popular public interest here]. Consider this, your moment, your window, could close (or we could give up) soon. It's only a matter of time before someone else puts a similar solution in our hands. How much time? Not much.

What Bryan said ...

What a bummer to get a non-invite mail about updates & new features and other really exciting stuff ... that has no impact on _my_ presentations.

The unsubscribe worked, though :)

Just kidding ... I'm as anxious as ever to see what this means -- especially to fan of Keynote & Google Docs' presentations.

Just a suggestion to the marketing department: You may want to send newsletters about cool new uses and features of SlideRocket to people who are actually in the beta program. For those of us that aren't, it's just a continuing reminder that we can't play with it yet.

I'm just SO impressed with your product. I believe I"m going to get tons of use of it... I have only one complaint. When you open a presentation, there's no way to get back? Like when you view, you can't 'close' and go back or hit the back button? Am I missing something!

I think a nice Venn-style diagram showing how Sliderocket manages to integrate the different components of design, management and sharing.

I think Sliderocket holds promise for the future. I for one am hoping for an invite as I've got some presentations to create for an undergraduate educational psychology class I'm teaching in the Fall. How cool would it be to offer presentations to my students without having to deal with the tech support of them installing PowerPoint, Keynote, Ooo, or anything else!

Oh please, oh please, consider this poor teacher in your invite list!

Yours,

Chris Craft

You're struggling to find a description? really?
SlideRocket is power-point on steroids! It's all of your presentation needs in one place- like Walmart-only with a much cleaner image and no sweat-shops.
