Presentations a go-go! – Introducing the New SlideRocket Player iPad Presentation App
At SlideRocket we make it easier for you to share your big ideas with the world. That’s why we are so excited to announce our free iPad presentation app, the SlideRocket Player.
Cavemen chiseled their stories on stone tablets but our generation is decidedly more high tech. The iPad has become a fixture in small businesses, classrooms and corporate America—in fact, according to Apple’s latest earnings report, 86% of the Fortune 500 are deploying or testing iPads, up from 75% last quarter. You also cannot travel by planes, trains or automobiles without seeing the prolific use of iPads. Content is the paint and the iPad is the canvas that allows users to beautifully bring ideas, stories and communications to life wherever they go. It is a platform where ideas are sparked and shared with the touch of a finger.
Today’s workforce is much more dynamic and mobile. We create, respond and share in and out of the office. Work happens wherever we are, and now with the new SlideRocket Player your presentations can too. According to the SlideRocket Presentation Index, 32 percent of professionals currently use a smartphone or tablet as their primary computing device, expected to grow to 57 percent by 2012. 90% of presentations are delivered outside the office and recent data shows that iPad presentation views are up more than 400% in the last month alone, confirming the growing adoption of this business tool. See our most recent mobile infographic for a closer look.

The new SlideRocket Player gives you a powerful on-the-go communication tool. You can import SlideRocket and PowerPoint presentations to share online or off. You can even send a link to someone so they can view your presentation whenever they like.
The iPad and SlideRocket Player are perfect for adding visual storytelling components and studies show that information retention nearly doubles with images versus text only. Add audio, visual or even play YouTube or embedded videos. According to the Index presentations with video are viewed nearly 20 percent longer than those without.
Unlock New Business With SlideRocket’s iPad Presentation App
Imagine a chance meeting with a potential client. Now, rather than simply exchanging business cards and a promise to follow-up, you can deliver a presentation over coffee or invite them to view your presentation with a simple link. Use your iPad presentaiton app to create a presume like Hanna Phan and land your dream job. You may even upload presentations for your students, like the Open High School of Utah and view analytics and viewing patterns right on your iPad. The possibilities are endless with the iPad and new SlideRocket Player.
The combination of the iPad and SlideRocket Player may be the best pairing since peanut butter and jelly. Don’t take our word for it though, we invite you to download it and experience it for yourself.
