SlideRocket Non-profit Presentation Competition Gets a Boost

SlideRocket is thrilled to announce the availability of an additional $10,000 in donation prizes for our 2012 “Make an Impact” Non-profit Presentation Contest. This brings the total donations that will be awarded* to an eye-popping $30,000! Additionally, our panel of five distinguished presentation judges has just been selected.

Increased Donation Prizes

We have sweetened the pot for the 1st place donation prize from $5,000 to $10,000, and added a 5th place prize for $5,000. Here is the new donation award schedule:

  • 1st Place = $10,000
  • 2nd Place = $5,000
  • 3rd Place = $5,000
  • 4th Place = $5,000
  • 5th Place = $5,000

Panel of Judges

We are also excited to announce our distinguished panel of five judges. Our judges will review the 25 presentations with the most unique presentations views and select five winners based on the best storyline, composition/visuals, compelling cause and the number of unique presentation views. Here are our judges:

  • Roger Doiron, founder and director of Kitchen Gardeners International, a non-profit community of over 20,000 people from 100 countries who are growing their own food and helping others to do the same, and the non-profit behind the White House food garden
  • Beth Kanter, nationally recognized non-profit blogger and author with more than 30 years experience in the non-profit sector
  • Diane Solinger, executive director of EF (Entrepreneurs Foundation), a U.S. based non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging, empowering and enhancing corporate social responsibility by making it easy for companies to design and implement their corporate philanthropy, community involvement and community investment programs
  • Marnie Webb, co-CEO of TechSoup, a non-profit with a clear focus: providing other non-profits and libraries with technology that empowers them to fulfill their missions and serve their communities
  • Chuck Dietrich, vice president and general manager, SlideRocket by VMware
