Over the coming months we’ll be working to provide you with even more free presentation templates that you can add to your SlideRocket account with just a click from our “Get Inspiration” gallery. These presentation templates are professionally designed, but created in a way that makes them easy for you to work with.
We’re striving to make templates with a fresh design, that are easily customized, and tailored to the kinds of presentations you want to create.
So, rather than presentation templates that are generic, you get templates tailored to the presentation you’re trying to create, whether it’s a sales presentation, a business presentation, presentation résumé, newsletter, online portfolio, etc. And we’re making the templates actual presentations so you’ll get both a great design and a real life example of the template in action. In some cases we create a fictional company, and other times it’s an actual company’s presentation, but they will be customizable all the same.
We spent considerable time thinking about the types of slides to include in each template. We consulted with experts in each area (e.g., VP of sales for a sales pitch deck) so that we can bake best practices into each of the presentation templates. So, if you find yourself having to create a marketing strategy presentation, you’ll quickly understand which types of slides you should include, such as a competitive analysis, market sizing, campaign calendar, sales/lead funnel slide, etc.
In fact, it’s a marketing strategy and plan presentation template that is the first out of the gates. A lot of marketers use SlideRocket, so it’s no surprise this was voted into the top slot in the poll we conducted. This template will be a great way for marketers to quickly and easily create a presentation that looks great, is easily understood and makes an impact with your audience.
Please keep the feedback coming by listing out below in the Comments the templates you’d like to see next. While we already have the first batch of presentation templates completed, we have the flexibility to update our plan based on your feedback. You can either comment here or vote in the poll via the links above.

Will there be new themes coming too? I can see that many people want templates to get something professionally looking done quickly, but my main reason for sliderocket is to create simple presentations that look really stellar, and with your themes that works great, but more variability is what I need. (Is there a way to create my own themes too?)
John Rode
June 18, 2012 @ 8:51 am
Hi Tim,
Yes, you can create your own theme. In the slide editor, click “Theme” in the right pane, then “Create new theme…” and off you go.
We have a number of new templates in the works. This week we’ll launch the new “SlideBook” and soon thereafter we have a Survey Template (for collecting and showing survey results), then a Webinar Template and a Business Plan template. There will be more beyond that, but those are the ones underway.
That’s good feedback regarding the Templates though. This summer we’ll take a look at providing more choices in that area as well.

I sell small business videos, using your platform. It would be nice to have a template conducive to showing off and educating my prospects on the value of using video vs text, etc. It could simultaneously be a great promo for sliderocket, as I’m picturing very slick animation combinations, etc, as well as some catchy text areas to highlight the selling points.

Oh, and a portion of the template could have a nice testimonials template included as well. Thanks

Hi Christine,
I like your thinking. I had considered a “video template” but wasn’t sure of the demand for it. Now I know! We’ll get on it.

Hi Christine,
We were working on a “sales deck” that folks could use to pitch their products services. It was a little tricky because the types of slides didn’t ump to mind. But your comment on a video template would feed a slide both on a demo, customer testimonial and value prop. Hmmm, I think this could work.

I love sliderocket but can you provide more Presentation Templates?
Also can I turn off the autosave options? because I found the undo cannot work because the system already autosave. It is not good to user.
