SlideRocket Launches A Beautifully Engaging Newsletter Template
In a quest to expand our suite of amazing presentation templates, we’re thrilled to introduce a revamped and refreshed newsletter template that you can easily customize for your own business to help get the word out in style.
To get this newsletter template, just sign into your SlideRocket account, visit the Templates gallery and click the template (it’s one of the last in the list), and Sign up for Free if you’re not already a user.
This newsletter template is entirely customizable. You can change the colors, swap out the images, and put in your own videos. This particular newsletter is the actual one SlideRocket is using. We commissioned a designer to put it together for us, but we found it quite easy to customize for this month’s newsletter. Here are some features of this newsletter template I’d like to highlight:
8 Engaging Features of The Newsletter Template
- Several page / slide “looks”
- A fresh color scheme
- Placeholders for big, bold images
- Easy to use navigation
- Fun, tasteful animations and transitions
- Handles video and YouTube clips perfectly
- Twitter and Facebook share buttons
- Hyperlinks to external content
In the past newsletters templates have tended to be emails, PDFs or web pages. I always found these to be cumbersome and constraining. With presentations, you’re freed from the strictures of a hard coded template. So you can still move items around and modify the template as you need. This means you don’t need any HTML skills to put your newsletter together. And with this template you don’t need any design skills either. I created this one and you can be sure I’m not a design specialist.
And with a newsletter as a presentation, you’ll never be afraid to hit the send button. That is, if you send it out and suddenly realize you have a misspelling, or a hyperlink isn’t working properly, no problem! You can make the change and everyone’s newsletter is updated. Online presentations are also so easy to share that you’ll be able to reach your community on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and anywhere else.
This newsletter template joins the recently released marketing plan template, the SlideBook (Ebook), and the Online Portfolio. And don’t worry, we have more in the works including a new SlideBook, which will be like an eBook (more on that soon), and a lead prospecting deck. I think you’ll really like them.

I’d love to see the newsletter but it’s been over ten minutes and it’s still loading. Not a browser issue so that concerns me. If I’m going to send news I want to make sure my viewers can open it!
I’ve been creating my own news with SR for almost 2 yrs. with great success. I animate the slides and insert my own photos, links, etc. Great response. BUT it’s very time consuming to publish. Glad to see you’ve designed this option but again the time delay is a concern.
Thanks for all the effort!

OK…trouble solved – the Adobe Flash had someone gone missing and had to reinstall.
PS: Will the Slide Book be something folks will have to purchase to view?

Hi Jane,
The SlideBook will be free just like the recent Newsletter Template and Marketing Plan Template.
And don’t worry, our engineers are tinkering away to speed up the loading times, amongst other fun things. Thanks for the feedback Jane!
