Turn Your PowerPoint “C” Into a SlideRocket “A” With a Free EDU SlideRocket Account

By John Rode on September 11, 2012

Creativity, collaboration and communication are cornerstones of today’s learning environment. So it comes as no surprise that teachers, professors and students are so excited about SlideRocket! SlideRocket makes it easy for students and teachers to:

  • Create amazing presentations
  • Work together on presentations
  • Explore new ways to share and present information, and
  • Develop the skills to express themselves effectively.

In true back-to-school spirit SlideRocket is thrilled to offer three ways students and faculty can signup for free SlideRocket accounts:

#1 Google Chrome EDU

Google makes it simple to signup for a SlideRocket account through the Chrome Web Store. Educators and students can download the Chrome browser and add the SlideRocket app for free from the SlideRocket page on the Chrome Web Store.

This is perfect for folks who love the Chrome browser, or are willing to give it a try.

#2 Google Apps Marketplace

If your school or class uses Google Apps, then this offering is the way to go. Just contact your Google Apps administrator to add the SlideRocket app for you. Just share the SlideRocket page with your Google Apps administrator. If your school is not on Google Apps, you’ll want to go with one of the other approaches.

#3 SlideRocket Website

If you’re a student or educator and don’t fit into the above offerings, don’t worry! We’ll still take care of you. Just sign-up for an EDU account on our website with your school email address. After you register we’ll send you an email verifying the address you provided. Just click that and off you go!

I am in a class where the instructor has assigned a slide rocket presentation with audio. I am unable to get the audio without an upgrade. I am requesting the sliderocket GoogleEDU version of this as I am currently showing sliderocket lite. Thank you
