SlideRocket Beta

SlideRocket - Now in Public Beta!

We're really happy to announce to the universe that SlideRocket is out of private and into public beta. We had an enormously successful private beta and would like to say a big THANK YOU! to everyone who contributed with bug reports, feedback, and ideas to help us make SlideRocket even better. Here's what some of you had to say about your experience:

"Did I mention I love love love SlideRocket? I can't wait till you guys launch! Rock on." - Irene Chiu, Sony

"Wow! Big wow! SlideRocket is amazing! Goodbye Powerpoint. I love it." - Oliver Degnan, One7Media

"Now, however, there's an alternative that promises to take presentation design into a whole different stratosphere: SlideRocket." - Anthony Juliano, Soundbite Back.

Apologies to those of you who signed up and did not receive a private beta invite but today is your day! Sign up and take SlideRocket for a whirl as part of the public beta and let us know what you think about the much improved SlideRocket by sending email to feedback@sliderocket.com.

SlideRocket Collaboration

With Great Public Beta Comes Great Collaboration

As part of the public beta we've turned on collaboration functionality for everyone. This means you can add up to 4 additional users to your account and take advantage of some of the team oriented SlideRocket functionality:

  • Share presentations, slides and assets in a common library
  • Create presentations collaboratively
  • Create once, share many, and update universally
  • Assign user access rights at various levels to manage / control access and message
  • Version control at both slide and presentation level provide rollback points and compliance
  • Conduct web meetings to share your presentations in real time
  • Track who's viewed your presentation with analytics

To add a new user to your account:

- login to SlideRocket

- go to the Account tab

- select Users and Groups

- click the + icon

- Fill out the user detail then select ok

Now you have a peer to collaborate with and you can add up to 3 more during the beta. Use your collaboration power wisely but feel free to have fun with it too.

Office 2.0 Debrief

SlideRocket recently participated in the 2008 Office 2.0 Conference where the future of online productivity and collaboration was discussed. It was great meeting all the attendees and showing them in person what SlideRocket can do. We also enjoyed learning about the other Office 2.0 companies that were there.

Mitch Grasso our CEO and Co-Founder participated in a great panel session on Document 2.0 that you can watch here.

You can check out other sessions from Office 2.0 too.
